George "Tom" Braasch
December 17, 1947 - March 30, 2012

George "Tom" Braasch, age 64, of Kalamazoo, passed away early Friday morning, March 30, 2012 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.

He was born December 17, 1947 in Washington, DC, the son of the late George H. and Mary Helen (Stazel) Braasch.

Tom worked as a parts salesman for Western Michigan International Trucks for 15 years until his retirement.

Surviving are his wife, Caryn T. Braasch; son, Jeff (Janelle) Braasch of Portage; step-children, Kevin (Kelly) Nosan of Portage and Kristine Lambert of Oshtemo; grandchildren, Kyra, Emmy, Noah, Paige, Katie, Takara and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Patience and A.J.; sisters, Jan (Billy) Hall of Climax, Sue (Al) Winthurst of Battle Creek, Shari (Scott) Saunders of Ohio and Karen Braasch of Battle Creek; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Tom will be at 1:00 pm on Monday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street, Kalamazoo, with Rev. C.T. Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in Battle Creek Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 3-6 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
