Andrew "Andy" Klepper
August 31, 1947 - January 17, 2015

Andrew A. "Andy" Klepper, age 67, of Battle Creek died Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Battle Creek V.A. Medical Center. He was born in Battle Creek on August 31, 1947, the son of Melvin and Lilace (Johnston) Klepper and faithfully served his country as a member of the United States Army. Andy retired from Community Hospital in 1997 after more than 25 years of service.

Andy married the "Love of His Life", Sandra I. Hart in Battle Creek on April 15, 1967; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Teresa Tibbits of Battle Creek, Maria (James) Daniels of Utah and Andrew W. Klepper of Livingston County; three grandchildren, Corey, Jesse and Tyler; a sister, Sally (Gordon) Roberts, a brother-in-law, John Bradford and several nieces & nephews. Andy was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jane Bradford.

Andy enjoyed eating at Old Country Buffet and was very interested in electronics. He also enjoyed hiking at Kellogg Forest and making walking sticks.

A memorial service with full military honors to celebrate Andy's life will be held 2:30 p.m., Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
