Following the class reunion, teacher Carl Jensen sent a touching thank-you card to the entire class with this note... "It was really great of all of you to pitch in together to put on your 45th! It takes a lot of work to pull it off! So glad to see you again. It's been a long time since I've see a lot of you and to have some time to get filled on what's been happening. I told Janet (Taylor) that the classes that followed yours were not the same with drugs, etc. She said that your class didn't have any of that, maybe that's why your class turned out so well. Thanks again for the invitation and I'll look forward to the 50th!" Carl Jensen |

Northern Naturalist Recently checking in with class database monitor Sam Lanham, was none other than outdoorsman Steve Senker. Seems this naturalist/professor is often found teaching rugged outdoor sports to students in northern Michigan.

Oasis for Two Ron Torres and Sara Buchanan Torres (left) recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on the new Oasis of the Seas. The Oasis, which accommodates more than 6100 guests, is currently the largest cruise ship in the world. Sara says, "It is extremely high-tech and was the easiest ship to board and debark from that we have ever been on... truly an amazing ship... never felt ANY movement. The couple visited Nassau, St. Thomas and St. Maarten. |

Goofy Creations Some of us have worn many hats through the years. But one of the most unusual and certainly "fun" occupations has to be Mike Stacy's current gig (see right) at Walt Disney World's Goofy Candy Company, where Stacy trains youth from around the globe in the production of spectacular treats. |
